Barbara A. Bryant

Barbara Ann Bryant, Age 86, passed away October 5, 2025. She was born May 6, 1939 in Minneapolis, MN to Carl and Bernyce Christopherson. They moved to Brainerd, MN where she and her 3 sisters spent their younger years until they moved to Wayzata, MN. She graduated from Wayzata and married Grady Bryant in 1959. They lived in Maple Plain together for 26 years, raised 5 children and fostered many. When her children were older she went to work in an administrative capacity at Maple Plain Elementary and then Breck School. She continued in real estate and other endeavors, but eventually returned to education and retired from Rasmussen College in Edina. She enjoyed playing bingo at the Wayzata Legion, league bowling, card club, travel, spending time with family and friends and was a longtime member of Wayzata Community Church. She spent her final days in Memory Care at Suite Living-Maple Grove when she was called home by our merciful God. She is survived by her sons; Chris and Jon, daughters; Lori (Bud), Tammy (Dave), and Stacy, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law; Jeff Starzecki and granddaughter; Kristina Folkerts. A memorial service to celebrate Barb’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Wayzata Community Church, 125 Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata, MN 55391. Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m., service is at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow.
