Bernadette Klein Obituary

 Klein (Bernadette), Jane "Bernie" Age 90, of Delano, formerly Wayzata and Plymouth, passed peacefully on November 29, 2019. Born in Minneapolis. Pre-deceased by husband Richard, son Steven, parents Maylin and Grace Feser, and daughter in-law Cathy. A lifelong and committed volunteer, Bernie's passion for the community and the organizations that she devoted decades of her life to provided meaning, purpose, and results. United Cerebral Palsy, the YWCA, The Minnesota Zoo, and Wayzata Historical Society are among many that have advanced their mission based on Bernie's contributions. Survived by sons Charles, of Brookeville MD, Thomas (Susan), of Victoria, David, of Delano; daughter Suzan, of Minneapolis; sister Lorraine Benson, of Long Lake; grandchildren Kevin Klein, Sofia (Ben) Simmons, Liliana Klein, Jackson Klein; great grand-daughter Ella Rose Simmons, and nieces and nephews. Service at Rettinger Funeral Home, 425 Lake Street, Long Lake, MN 55356 (952-473-6954), on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Join the family at 10:00 for visitation. Private internment at Fort Snelling. Memorials preferred to United Cerebral Palsy of Minnesota. (ucpmn.org).
