Bernadine Dwinnell Obituary

Dwinnell, Bernadine Jane, loving mother, wife, sister, aunt, coworker, and friend, passed away peacefully the evening of December 27 at the age of 77. Bernadine was born in Harvey, North Dakota to Ernest and Lora Lautt. As a daughter of a pastor, she lived in several homes while growing up in North Dakota, Minnesota, and Michigan, graduating from high school in Frederick, MI. She went on to graduate as head of her class from Lutheran Deaconess School of Nursing. She worked for 38 years in the Fairview hospital system as an ICU RN. She leaves behind her husband of 55 years Bob, her daughter Heidi, sisters Eileen, Linda and Vivian, brother Terry, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son Lewis and her parents. Bernadine was a joy to be around, always busy getting ready for the next event on the calendar. She will be missed whole-heartedly.The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Cedars at St Louis Park for the care and kindness shown to Bernadine during her time there. Memorials preferred to the American Diabetes Association. Due to Covid-19, private family service will be held.
