Bradley Vernon McIntyre passed away after a long, hard battle with chronic lung disease, on February 14, 2026, at the age of 81, at his home in Maple Plain, MN. Bradley was born in Leslie Township, MN, on December 19, 1944. He is preceded in death by his parents, William McIntyre and Anna Bodle; sisters Shirley Pritchard and Erma Cooper; ex-wife Terri Moe-McIntyre; and daughter Jennifer Shocinski.
Bradley was known as a kind soul to everyone he met. He had a heart made of gold and always put his children first. In his later years, he was cared for by his youngest daughter, Brittany. She took him on trips each year, and she was his favorite little (turd), as he would say. They were best friends and always went on amazing adventures together, whether it was on a cruise or in Duluth, MN. He always enjoyed family time.
He is survived by his children, Brittany McIntyre, Ashleigh (James) Nunn, Melissa (Paul) McConnell, Ryan Shocinski, his adopted daughters Melanie Stavrum and Katie Barthel (Drohan), his brother Roger (Jan) McIntyre, his grandchildren Kaylin Winship, Jackson VandenHoek, Paige Shocinski, Noah Shocinski, Sebastian Nunn, Dylan Nunn, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will hold two celebrations of life for him this summer: one in the Twin Cities and the other in Melrose, MN. He will be laid to rest at his family’s cemetery near Long Prairie, MN.
As he would say to his youngest daughter Brittany; Later…Later… Alligator.
