With deep sorrow and loving remembrance, the family of Christopher Anthony Grazzini, age 46, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, announces his peaceful passing on July 20, 2026.

Born on November 11, 1979, in Edina, Minnesota, Chris lived a life rooted in generosity and had a vibrant personality that effortlessly brightened every room. A hard worker who enjoyed connecting with people and working with his hands, Chris spent years in the hospitality industry as a server, worked in house painting, and most recently found great fulfillment working outdoors as a landscaper.

Chris was a gifted artist with a special talent for sketching. He also held a lifelong passion for sports and was a fiercely loyal Minnesota Vikings fan. Among his most cherished traditions was watching the Vikings alongside his mother, creating a bond and memories that will be treasured forever. He also enjoyed snowboarding, baseball, basketball, and football. The 1991 Minnesota Twins and the Chicago Bulls were among his favorite teams.

Chris spent countless hours with his sister as a child playing classic Nintendo games, especially Super Mario Bros. As a big brother, Chris never seemed too busy to go outside and play catch whenever his little sister asked. Those simple moments became some of her most treasured memories.

Chris loved being an uncle and was immensely proud of his nieces and nephew. Whether sharing stories, making them laugh, or simply spending time together, they brought him tremendous joy. His family was his greatest blessing, and the love they shared will remain in their hearts forever.

Chris will be remembered for his artistic spirit, gentle heart, quick wit, and the deep love he shared with those closest to him. His  faith remained a cornerstone of his life, giving him strength throughout life’s joys and trials and offering his family comfort in the hope of Christ’s Resurrection and the promise of eternal life.

He is survived by his loving mother, Theresa Ann Dyke; his sister, Julie Ann Laflamme; his cherished nieces, Elise Theresa Laflamme and Noelle Marie Laflamme; his nephew, Sean Hunter Laflamme; his aunts and uncles, Elizabeth and Jeff Hattara, Patti and Dennis Labs, Christy and Steve Grazzini, Kathy Martinez, and Catherine Hines; his cousins, Lauren Kirkman, Ryan Hattara, Rebecca Labs, Kristin Labs-Siler, Kelly Labs-Rajaei, Daniel Grazzini, Matthew Grazzini, Anthony Sloane, and Robert Sloane; and his best friend, Keith Lorenz.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Russell Dyke, and his maternal grandparents, Edward and Virginia Grazzini.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at St. George’s Catholic Church in Long Lake, Minnesota, with Fr. Greg Paffel officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to Mass at the church. Burial will follow at St. George’s Cemetery, with a luncheon immediately afterward in the church hall.
