Cynthia Jean (Metz) Wright 
June 23, 1958 - November 3, 2021
After a courageous battle with cancer, Cindy received her angel wings on November 3rd and was united with her beloved son Cody, parents John and Bev Metz, Mayme Wright, brother-in-law Brian Johnson and fur babies Otis and Lucy. Cindy was born in Minneapolis and resided in Long Lake, Minnesota where she raised her two children with the love of her life, Greg.  As her children grew up, she could often be found supporting them at a hockey rink or baseball field. She had a true zest for life and passion for travel and enjoyed spending time with friends and family in Cozumel, Mexico and northern Minnesota. She is survived by her husband of 43 years Greg Wright, son and daughter-in-law Brian and Maia, sister Cathy (Nick) Meyer, brothers Michael (Allison) Metz, Tom (Pamela) Metz, sister-in-law Deb Wright, brother-in-law Jon (Kathy) Wright, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and special friends. A co-celebration of Cindy and Cody's life will be held at Rettinger Funeral Home, 425 Lake St, Long Lake, MN 55356 on Tuesday, November 16th with visitation at 1:00 PM and a service to follow at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Animal Humane Society or American Cancer Society.
