Lohmann, David T. age 74, of Plymouth passed away on October 14, 2024. Born on May 10, 1950, in Fairmont, David graduated from Fairmont High School in 1968 and from Mankato State University in 1972. For 16 years he ran his own plumbing business in Northrop, MN, also acting as Fire Chief and City Councilman. Relocating to Long Lake in 1988, David then worked with Roto Rooter for 25 years. As an active member of the Long Lake Trinity Lutheran Choir and Handbell Choir he embarked on several European tours. His obsession for Bob Dylan made him a regular pilgrim to the easier-reached Hibbing and Duluth. He also loved fishing as well as making people happy with his jokes. But for so many, David was the can-do guy with a solution to any problem, plumbing-related or not, lending a hand without hesitation. David is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barb; his children, Ben (Amanda) of Montrose and Tina (Peregrine Andrews) of London, UK; grandchildren, Theodore, Zachary and Abigail Lohmann. A celebration of David’s life will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Long Lake on November 2, 2024 at 11:00am, with visitation from 9:30am to 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Trinity Music Program (checks can be made out to Trinity Music Program and mailed to 2060 County Rd 6, Long Lake, MN 55356) or the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum online.
