Ralph Fidelis Huar was born in Minneapolis on March 3, 1939 to Christine (Theis) and Arthur Huar. He grew up in Hamel, Waverly and attended high school in Robbinsdale. He finished seminary in 1981 and served several parishes in the Twin Cities area. He spent most of his years in Little Canada, Rush City and finally St. George’s in Long Lake. He retired in 2014. Ralph, 82, was killed in an accident near his home in Little Falls on October 4, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Donald and twin Robert. He is survived by his sisters, LaVerne Hoy of Elburn, IL and Dolores (Curtis) Johnson of Hawley, MN. The mass of Christian burial will be held for Ralph at St. George Church, Long Lake on Tuesday Oct. 12 at 11am with visitation one hour before service He is buried at the German Liberal Cemetery, a rural place of peace in Medina Township. Ralph was an avid gardener, bridge player, golfer and good friend to many.
