Gayle lynn Benson

Benson, Gayle Lynn age 59 of Long Lake. Passed away at her home on Nov. 18, 2012. Survived by her loving husband, David; daughter, Brienne Benson and son, Brett Benson; parents, John and Amy Colley of Bainbridge, WA; mother-in-law, Jean Benson of Bellevue, WA; brother Gary (Ann) Colley of Port Angeles, WA; niece, Lara and nephew, Daniel; many loving relatives and friends. Gayle earned a bachelor's degree from Washington State University and worked as a social worker for the state of Idaho until 1993. Gayle and David have resided in long Lake since 1993. Gayle was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister, and loved the Boundary Waters. Private family service. If desired, memorials can be made in Gayle's name and directed to the Orono Foundation for Education.
