George Kalweit Obituary

Kalweit, George W. "Bill" age 84 of Orono, passed away April 17, 2012, surrounded by his family and loving wife of 55 years. Bill was born in Omaha and grew up in Milwaukee, graduated from U. Marquette H.S. and U W- Madison, a badger for life. Bill was a manufacturer's rep of toys and sporting goods, and a proud member of Twin City Toy Association. He had a passion for people, loved golf, travel, sports, boating, nature, dogs, the MN Orchestra, and life in General! Bill was sincere, immensely gregarious, kind, had a great sense of humor and was loved by all. A dedicated parishioner at the Church of St George. Longtime member of the Lafayette Club. Survived by wife Katherine; sisters, Audrey Schweitzer and Lette Dunnebacke; his girls, Carrie (Jeff Millikan), Madeline, Sarah (John Dornik), Heidi, Georgeanne, (Piero Tudisco) and grandkids, Zeke, Sean, Delaney, Halen, and Adeline.

Visitation Sunday April 22, 4:00-6:00 at Rettinger Funeral Home, Long Lake

Memorial Service Monday 11:00 am at the Catholic Church of St. George 133 south Brown Road, Long Lake.

Memorials preferred to the cancer Society or the church
