Gerald Allen Reiser

GERALD ALLEN REISER, age 86, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at his home. 

Gerald was born in 1932 to William and Eleanor Reiser in Minneapolis, MN.  He was united in marriage to Janis Nelson on July 2, 1955.  They moved to Grand Rapids, MN in 1976 where Gerald worked as a service attendant for Davis Oil for many years. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and a life member of the American Legion. Preceding him in death were his parents; and wife, Janis.Gerald is survived by three daughters, Pamela (Bruce Tischer) Reiser of St. Louis Park, MN, Lou Ann (Tim) Reed of Monticello, MN and Cheryl (Joseph) Helm of Eden Prairie, MN; one son, Donald (Amy) Reiser of Grand Rapids, MN; one sister, Rita Jubert of Minnetonka, MN; three brothers, William (Mary Lou) Reiser of Long Lake, MN, George Reiser of Buffalo, MN and Larry (Dorothy) Reiser of Grand Rapids, MN; 7 grandchildren, Nathan, Josh, Holli, Ben, Stephanie, Chloee, and Cole; and 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.Visitation will be Monday, July 9, 2018 at 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Wayzata, MN.  Burial will be in Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Cemetery, Wayzata, MN.
