Gordon J. Sholl Obituary
My dad, Gordon John Sholl (Gordy), lived from 1943-2024.
He had a hard life, but he always had love and kindness to share. He grew up in NE Mpls in the 1950’s. He taught me how to explore the area. He also introduced me to many eclectic people and their culture and foods. He was a talented tennis player and he enjoyed his cat, reading, playing cards, watching sports, being in nature, and fishing and biking. In his later years, his favorite activities included: going out to eat, picking flowers, birds, animals and watching western movies. He loved “talking to the babies” (which he called all kids). His favorite children are his grandchildren: Greta, Alice and Raymond. He shared his love of music and movies (1940’s-1980’s) and he knew all the actors, artists, titles and words. I am grateful to all his friends and lovely people who have helped him and loved him during his life.
His daughter, Nicole Beverly (Jim) Gersema
