Eisinger, Howard F. age 95 years, died November 2, 2013 in Orono, MN. Surrounded by his family. A good man has gone forward to be with the Good Lord.
Howard was born August 10, 1918 in Orono, Mn, to George and Margaret Eisinger. He was the third oldest of seven children. He lived his entire life in the Orono/Long Lake MN area where he was a sucessful business man. He enjoyed his semi-retirement job as a maintenance man for an area college where he grew to love the students. He was married to Ruth Roehl on July 5th, 1941, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Wayzata, MN.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Ruth; children Betty Anderson; H. Fred Eisinger, Jr. (Christine); Richard Eisinger (Claire); Ruthann Jayson (Cam); Daniel Eisinger (Sue); George Eisinger (Ann); Mary Cherne (Steve);Virginia Milsap (Jim); David Eisinger (LuAnn); Edward Eisinger (Brenda); Esther Hoganson (Howard); Patty Gregor (Tom); Allen Eisinger (Denise); Frances Stang (Greg); Christina Eisinger; Tony Eisinger (Bridget); Brothers, Leonard Eisinger (Gladys) and Kermit Eisinger; 45 grandchildren and 53 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents and twin sons, Peter and Paul.
Howard's pride and joy was his family. He reveled at their athletic, academic, and occupational achievements. He loved to follow his children's travel's around the world. Some of hios biggest smiles came when he received photos of kids, grandkids and great grandkids playing, traveling, working or just relaxing. He was a kind man who always had a hearty meal for a guest, a warm camper for prospective son-in-law to study in, or just a big smile and a kidding comment. He will be missed by all that knew him, but we all take comfort that he is at rest with his Savior.
Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday Nov. 5th 11:00 AM Visitation Monday Nov. 4, 5:00-8:00 pm and 1 hour prior to mass all at Catholic Church of St. George, Long Lake.
Memorials are preferred to St. Scholastica Monastery, 1001 Kenwood avenue, Duluth, MN 55811-2300
