James (Jim) D. Mandy

Mandy, James D. Age 95, of Deephaven, passed away September 4, 2019.  Born in Devils Lake, North Dakota.  Preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine (Heno), parents Peter and Corinne (Ryan), and brother John “Jack”.  Survived by sons Douglas John (Judy), Peter (Katherine), and Paul (Catherine); grandchildren Christopher (Nikole), Michelle Langevin (Dave), Rebecca Kimmes (Shawn), Angela Sivanich (Andy), and Daniel (Erica); and 9+ great-grandchildren.  Jim was proud of his early years as a farmer, his military service as a medic and mechanic, his 35 years as a mechanic with Jefferson Bus Co., and the fact that he could fix anything using wire and duct tape.  After his retirement, Jim and his wife toured the country in their travel trailer. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 18 at St George Catholic Church, Long Lake, MN.  Visitation will be 1 hour before the Mass.  Thank you to Deephaven Woods for the love and care they bestowed on Jim. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to “The Alzheimer's Association”.
