Hardin,
Janet Marie (Christofferson) Age 85, of Long Lake, died peacefully
Saturday April 13, 2012. Born in Hibbing, she is preceded in death by her parents, Colbum N. and Lottie L. (Billings) Christofferson of
Hibbing, MN. Survived by her high school sweetheart, the love of her life, and spouse for over 67 years, Bob (Robert) Hardin. Also survived by four children, Robert (Eileen) of Chandler, AZ, David (Geri) of Denver, CO, Glen (Eileen) of Ramsey, MN, Gayle (Mick) Sievert of Orono, MN; brother-in-law, Charles (Ellie) Hardin of Clinton, MO and-sister-in-law, Georgene Willeson of San Diego, CA; many nieces and nephews. Janet's greatest joys were spending time with Bob, and having family call and visit. Bob and his precious "Sugar Babe" were blessed with eleven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was a kind and loving woman who adored her family. She loved and led a simple life, spending time at home reading, cooking, baking, visiting, and enjoying all the joys that life has to offer. Most of all, she loved her husband, Bob, who was not just her lifelong companion, he was her dedicated and loving caregiver for the past eight years. Bob and our entire family would like to thank all the family, friends, neighbors, and hospice caregivers who have provided so much love and support over these past months. Memorial Service 2 pm Tuesday at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 177 Glendale Ave., Long Lake. Visitation 1 hour prior to serviceat church. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
