Obituary

Person, Jill Patrice Dougherty age 63 of Plymouth passed away peacefully after a long illness on Monday, October 24, with family at her side. Jill is survived by her husband, Jeff, sons, Aaron and Joshua, mother, Sybil Dougherty, and brothers, Lee (Nancy) and Jay Dougherty. She is predeceased by her brother, Jon Paul, and father, Terrance. Jill was born in Littlefork, Minnesota, on April 2, 1959. Her family lived in Biloxi, Mississippi, and Las Vegas, Nevada, before returning to Minnesota in 1970. Jill graduated from Wayzata High School in 1977 and began a decades-long career in banking shortly thereafter. She lived in Phoenix, Arizona, for several years before settling permanently in Minnesota in 1982. Jill married Jeff Person of Wayzata in 1988. Jill brought pride and personality to everything in her life. She had a deep love for music, children, dogs, and her friends and family. But above all else, she loved being a mother. A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Sunday, December 4th at Rettinger Funeral Home in Long Lake. Visitation will precede at noon. Private interment at St. George's Cemetery.
