She grew up in Morningside, MN, Lombard, lL and Deephaven, MN and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Psychology on March 19, 1953 and married Jack Leppla on the very next day. They enjoyed each others love and companionship for more than 61 years. After they were all safely in school, she returned to the U of M for a teaching degree and taught 4hGrade in the Minnetonka School System. The family transferred to New England in 1969 where she was able to pursue her lifelong interest in gardening which continued till her death. Returning to Minnesota, she was an empty nester with all three children in school in New England. White continuing with her gardening, she established a DIY picture framing business, Frame Factory, in Brooklyn Park. The business grew and became Framing Concepts and Positive Stroke Art Supplies which she managed for nearly 20 years. At this point in her life, travel became her main interest with many trips to 6 continents and many islands. She also lovingly followed the doings of her 4 grandchildren, Kathryn, Christopher, Eli, and Katelyn. She is survived by husband Jack, children Jay (Elaine), David (Melanie) and Susan (Ken Krehbiel) and her four grandchildren. Tip will be remembered for her sense of humor, strength of character, and quiet perseverance. She will be sorely missed by all.
