Iverson (Riverdahl), Julie A, age 47 of Maple Plain, passed away January 29, 2021. Julie was born July 17, 1973, in Farmington, Minn., to Jack and Val Riverdahl. Julie grew up with her sister, Maureen in the Robbinsdale and Columbia Heights area. While at Cooper High School, Julie started working as a Nursing Assistant. She earned her Registered Nursing degree from the University of Minnesota and Anoka-Ramsey Community College. Julie's passion for health care lives on with daughter Berit. Julie had a special bond with her beloved grandparents who preceded her, "Papa" Bill Land and "Nana" Marlene Land and loved spending time with them at home, the cabin and summers in Florida. Julie loved going for walks, bike rides and spending time at Baker Park and Lake Independence. Julie enjoyed playing dolls, making crafts and art projects with all the kids, most recently her youngest, Annika. She passed on her love of art and painting oil portraits to daughter Bryn. Julie was athletic but admitted to being a nervous hockey Mom - always worried the kids (and Dad) would get hurt. Julie was very proud of Erik's baseball and hockey team trophies. Julie loved teaching Annika how to be a chef and listening to her play the clarinet. Julie loved all her pets and even took Ninja Kitty on walks. Julie is survived by loving husband, Ken; her wonderful children Berit, Bryn, Erik and Annika; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many loving friends.
