Kenneth (Kenny) M. Schmitz

Kenneth Mathias Schmitz passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 27th at the age of 75. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bernadine Schmitz (Barthel), and his siblings, Alvin, Gerald, and Darlene (Hedtke). He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara. Daughters, Kim Wuebkers (Adam), Kelly Schmitz (Cara), Kendell Schmitz (Paul) and Lindsey Stevens (AJ)  6 cherished grandchildren, Ryley Wuebkers, Gavin and Sophie Swiggart, and Annie, Josie,  Emma Stevens. Sister, Patricia Wehle. Brother, Johnny (Sandy) Schmitz. Many loving relatives and friends.

A simple man who valued the little joys in life, he loved fishing, a good joke, and sitting on any front porch chair. He took great pride in watching his daughters and grandchildren play sports and was always their quiet but loyal supporter.He will be remembered for his warm spirit, easy humor, and love for his family.

Memorial Service 11:00 AM with visitation 1 hour prior to service, Saturday. December 6th,  at Rettinger Funeral Home, Long Lake
