Kermit Eisinger Obituary

Eisinger, Kermit John age 93 of Plymouth, MN. Born May 29, 1921 in Orono, MN. Passed away July 6.
Survived by daughter Marjorie K. Eisinger of Plymouth, MN and special friend family friend "daughter" Liana Philippidou of Athens, Greece; brothers, Leonard (Gladys) of Phoenix, AZ; sisters-in-law, Ruth of Long Lake, MN and Catherine Eisinger of North Field, MN; many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by Margaret E. wife of 57 years and son K. Eldon; parents Mr. and Mrs. George Eisinger; sister, June Van Nyhuis; brothers, Howard, Donald, C. James and Roger. Longtime resident of Orono, MN. Attended Long Lake grade school, graduated from Wayzata High School and Dunwoody Industrial Institute. Served three and a half years in the US Army Medical Corp during WWII and 1 year during the Korean War.
Worked in the electronic field and the motion picture industry for 30 years. Retired in 1979 as a vice President and co-owner of MTS/NW Theater equipment Sales and Service Sound Corp. Charter member of the Calvin Presbyterian Church. Long Time member of the Wayzata American Legion, Wayzata Masonic Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star , WHC Pioneer Ass'n and IBEW. Memorial Service 11:00 Friday July 11 at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 177 Glendale Drive, Long Lake. Memorials preferred to either Calvin Presbyterian Church or Methodist Hospital Home Hospice, Att'n Nancy Gelle, 700 South 5th St. Hopkins, MN 55343
