Potter, Lise Blunding of Long Lake, MN, left us peacefully on July 14, 2022. Lise was born in Gjorslev Gods, Denmark on December 3, 1959. Lise spent her childhood growing up on castle grounds, eating licorice, and biking 7 miles to and from school (regardless of weather). She was destined to have a passion for food from her grandparents as dairy farmers, father as a game farmer, mother caring for six acres of vegetable gardens, and a brother who worked as a chef. Lise enjoyed teaching people to cook, hosting dinner parties, and celebrating other cultures through food. She also enjoyed many other creative talents including gardening, photography, travel, stained glass, and needlepoint. Lise was a devoted and supportive mother and an adoring grandmother. Survived by her mother, Lissy and her eldest brother, Jeppe; her three daughters, Catherine "Kate" (Ryan), Christina "Christa" (Ryan), Allison "Allie" Potter; their daughters father, David Potter; grandchildren: Daisy and Lily. Preceded in death by her father, Robert and her brother Thomas. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at one of her most treasured places, Kelly & Kelly Nursery at 11:00AM, 2325 Watertown Rd. Long Lake, MN. Details on reception following the celebration will be provided. Please send offerings to 223 Byrondale Avenue Wayzata, MN.
