Butterfield,Loren Vern, age 94 of Orono. Passed away Jan 3, 2022, at Founders Ridge in west Bloomington. Preceded in death by parents, George and Viola Butterfield, brother, Ned Butterfield, wives, Elaine Butterfield, and Betty, Survived by daughter, Lynn (Gary) Swanson; son, Brian (Judy) Butterfield; Stephanie Swanson, Brian (JoAnna) Swanson, Rebecca (John) VanAlstine, Danielle Furry and Steve (Alex) Furry, great-grandchild, Carter Swanson. Stepchildren, Sue (Curt) Jensvold, Cheryl (Denny) Johnson, Tom (Colleen) Bergstrom, Diane (Greg) Hallberg, many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Loren was very driven by his work ethic in the greenhouse and flower business. He was very passionate about his garden. Loren leaves behind him a legacy of strong character, honesty and striving for excellence. Private family service, interment Union Cemetery, Long Lake. Celebration of Loren’s life to be held at a later date.
