Lorraine E. Cloutier (Skogsberg) of Long Lake, MN. Passed away at the age of 80 on January 19th, 2024. She was born on June 22nd, 1943, in Mpls, and graduated from Edison High school in 1961. She moved to Long Lake in 1966 where she raised her daughters and eventually helped with her 3 grandchildren. She was a wonderful, kind woman who cared deeply for those in her life. Lorraine was a selfless person who put the needs of others before her own. She always wanted to make people happy, whether it was with her contagious smile or her cooking and baking skills. She never wanted anybody to go without a smile or a full belly. She had a love of morning coffee, sports, knitting, cooking, baking, puzzles and word finds. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, and friends. She spent many years working at the local nursing home. After that she discovered a love of photography where she spent 10 years making people smile while at various portrait studios. Preceded in death by her parents Edward and Doris Skogsberg, her brother, Richard and son-in-law, Barry Roche Survived by daughters, Lavonne Roche and Lynette Cloutier (Jacob Homan) Grandchildren, Christina Bohn (Gary) Micheal Strand, Victoria Ankney (Taylor) Great-Grandchildren, Charlotte, Xavier, Brooklyn Bohn, Brooklyn, William, Melanie Ankney. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family would also like to recognize and thank the staff of the Glenn Cottages for all the love and care they gave to Lorraine. Visitation to be held at 10 am on February 3rd with service to follow at 11:00 at Trinity Lutheran church in Long Lake, Mn 2060 County Rd 6, Long Lake, Mn 55356
