Marlys J. Formell

Formell, Marlys J. age 86 of Maple Plain, formerly New Brighton. Passed away Dec. 29 after a long illness. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leslie; older brothers, Richard and Wendell Anderson. Survived by son, Ross Formell and wife, Susanne Haas; grandsons, Benjamin and Max, as well as many nieces and nephews and their children.  She enjoyed spending time with family, as well as cooking, singing, swimming and gardening, and loved to attend her grandsons' sporting events. She was hardworking and was instrumental in developing, managing and maintaining apartment buildings in northwestern Wisconsin, along with Leslie and Ross. Funeral Service 11:00 am Thursday Jan 9th, at Lake of the Isles Lutheran Church, 2020 W Lake of the Isles Pkwy, Minneapolis, MN 55405with visitation 1 hour prior to service at church. Interment 11:00 Jan. 10 at Bethesda Lutheran Church cemetery, Sand Lake, WI.
