Maxyne R. Weyker Obituary

Maple Plain, MN - Maxyne R. Weyker (Lewis) passed away peacefully with family by her side on June 3, 2026 at the remarkable age of 101. Born in California and raised in Worthington, Minnesota, she married her sweetheart, Ray, before he shipped off with the Navy. Together, they had three children and later built a life in Robbinsdale.

One of Maxyne's special gifts was creating a sense of belonging for family, friends, and neighbors, whether around her table, at a magical holiday gathering, or with a perfectly-timed card. She loved to share a good joke, savor the breeze through an open window, and start every day with a glass of orange juice.

Maxyne was preceded in death by her cherished daughter, Lynda; her beloved husband of 52 years, Ray; siblings; special cousins; and many dear friends. She is survived by her son, Robert (Linda) Weyker, and daughter Ann (Tim) Schinke, grandchildren, Sara (Justin) Noznesky, Isaac Will, Michelle Weyker, Tiffany (Ryan) Moen, Nicole (Cole) Ramus, Sam Weyker, Lexi (Cody) Triplett, James (Maddie) Schinke, Tara (Adam) Dahlstrom, fourteen great-grandchildren, and wonderful extended family that demonstrated their love in beautiful ways.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on July 1 at Westgate Church in Wayzata, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Worthington, alongside her husband and daughter. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family will go towards installing a bench overlooking her favorite pond.
