Patricia Moering

Patricia (Pat) Moering, age 85, of Orono, formerly of Lexington, KY and Elkhorn, WI, passed away on January 21, 2022. Preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Adeline; Aunt Alice (Emil), Uncles Frank, Melvin, George (Florence), and Grandma Martha. Survived by her former husband, Herb, and their children - Randy, Rene’ (Bill), Ladd (Audra), Cassandra (Bob), former daughter-in-law Carla; grandchildren - Megan, Margo, Rae Lynn, Ben, Dakota, Russell; and great grandchildren - Joseph and Journey; best friend Karen, Jenn, Dillon, and Sally-dog; along with many other relatives, friends, and neighbors. She achieved a B.A. and M.A. from UW-Whitewater. Among the many people's lives she touched as a counselor in psychology, her wonderful artistic, cooking, and baking accomplishments, she was and loved being the Story Lady. The Story Lady photo was taken at the Walworth County Fair Grounds in Elkhorn, WI, where she would read stories on the grass in front of the log cabin. The story lady began at the Matheson Memorial Library.
