Philip Fortin Obituary

Fortin, Philip P. "Hawk" age 89 of Plymouth. Passed away March 30.
Preceded in death by wife Betty; grandson, Robbie Raguet; parents Philip and Mary; brother, Clifford. Survived by children, Pamela (Frank) Sanchez, Paula Raguet, Philip (Lisa), Robb, Jana (Randy) Paschke and Tim (Beth); grandchildren, Mark, Christian (Jill), Danielle, Christopher, Cassandra and Nicole Fortin, Michael (Marissa) Raguet, Steve, Erica and Joelle Paschke; 8 great-grandchildren. Hawk was born in Hamel, graduated from Wayzata High School '41 and the U of M '46. He served in the both WW II and Korea. He was a devoted,
kind gentleman who loved Maui. Hockey,tennis and singing which were his passions. He adored his grandchildren. Funeral Service 10:00 AM Thursday April 3, at Messiah United Methodist Church 17805 County rd. 6, Plymouth. Visitation Wednesday April 2, 5:00-7:00 pm at Rettinger Funeral Home Long Lake. Visitation also 1 hour prior to service at church. Special Thanks to the staff at Freedom Point. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
