Obituary

Fadden, Phyllis Ann (Williams) age 91, passed away suddenly on January 11, 2021. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Al and Rose Williams, her brother, Bob and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law. She is survived by daughter Sharon Fadden, son Michael (Boni), grandchildren; Lisa Lynch, Eric Ahlstrom (Angie), Jeff Fadden (Ann), Sorina Koehler (Guido), Patrick Fadden (Lynette), Vincent Fadden (Chelsea) and 17 great grandchildren. Two men that held a special place in her heart were Jeff Lynch and George Simmons. Phyllis was born November 14, 1929 in Minneapolis. She married Bud in 1948 at the age of 17. They lived a short time in Wayzata, MN and then built a house in Long Lake and spent 42 years there. Phyllis faithfully and selflessly took care of Bud in their home for 9 years while he battled Alzheimer’s. After Bud died she lived alone until 2013 when she left her home of 65 years to go to an elder care facility. Phyllis loved to sew and worked at Baggy Jo’s for many years until macular degeneration took most of her vision. She loved her grandchildren and willingly cared for them whenever asked. Phyllis will be cremated and there will be a private memorial service with family in the spring.
