Innes, Robert Ernest born in Bemidji, Minnesota on May 28, 1931. Bob resided in Long Lake, Minnesota for over 60 years. He passed away on May 14, 2022. Bob, “Bobcat” “Snowflake” was raised in Bemidji, Minnesota where he learned to love fishing, hunting, and the outdoors. He joined the Army and was honored and proud to serve his country. Upon returning home from the service, he married Charlotte and became the proud father of his two sons Robert and Scott. He made countless friends in his many years of working with the City of Minneapolis. He loved to feed the crows and critters in his backyard. Bob enjoyed a good meal and spending time with his family as well as his special friend Jeannie.
He survived the Great Depression, Korean War, Minnesota blizzards and COVID; he was a true soldier. Bob is loved by so many; his humor and contagious laugh will be missed by many. Preceded in death by his father and mother, Ernest and Geneva Innes. His beloved wife, Charlotte and his brother, Daniel Lee Innes. He will be greatly missed by his sons, Robert (Vickie) and Scott Innes. His granddaughter, Emilee (Corey) Metcalf and great granddaughters, Ada and Elizabeth Metcalf. Grandson, Robert (Ashley) Innes, great grandson, Myles and great granddaughter, Madilyn.
