Robert Leonard Waade Jr. of Long Lake, MN. Passed away on September 7, 2025, at the age of 56. Robert was born May 1, 1969, and graduated from Eden Prairie High School in 1988. He was an avid rock music lover and a Steelers superfan. He enjoyed playing guitar, and he loved adding to his immense record and movie collection. Robert was known for his iconic long hair and signature short sleeve and shirt combo in the winter. He made everyone he met laugh with his goofy sense of humor. He was a great artist who could rival Charles Schultz.. He won a poster contest at Ozzy Osbourne 's Farewell Tour concert and was invited backstage to meet Ozzy. He was kind, generous, and thoughtful. He was very strong and fought a courageous battle, as he suffered as early as age two, being in and out of the hospital due to his diabetes and then later on with kidney failure. Most of all, Rob was a person of deep faith and he kept God first in his life. He was a beautiful soul, and he is greatly loved and missed. Rob is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Allen and Audrey Kennedy of Virginia, his paternal grandparents, George and Doris Waade of Minneapolis, his dad, Robert Waade Sr., uncles, Ralph and Russell Waade of Mpls, and Bentrus Smith of Virginia.. Rob is survived by his wife, Nanci Waade, son, Ozzy Waade, daughter, Miranda Waade, grandchildren, Jordan Waade and Noelle Rosberg, and his mother, Iris Waade, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He loved them all.Rob will be cremated.
