Rory Pigott 

Rory passed away on June 8, 2018  age 64. Much too young to lose our fun-loving friend.  Rory grew up in Long Lake, MN and graduated from Orono High School, class of 72. He attended Mankato State. Rory worked in retail sales initially in men's clothing and for most of his career in auto sales, Rory was a tough and passionate athlete. At Orono, he was a starter in basketball, baseball, and football His favorite athletes were left handed. like Rory. He was proud of his Irish heritage and everything green. Rory is survived by his brother Shawn of Santa Cruz, CA, half-brother Brian of Taylor Falls, MN;  half-sister, Donna of San Diego; several extended family members and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Bette and George Pigott and his beloved sister Shannon. A graveside service will be held on Friday, Sept. 14 at 2 pm. at Union Cemetery in Long Lake MN. A gathering will follow at Birches located next to the cemetery
