Timothy Reed

Timothy E Reed, age 66 of Monticello passed away peacefully at his home on the morning of June 20, 2021 with the love of his family surrounding him. Tim was born on March 20, 1955 in Minneapolis, MN to Gilbert Earl Reed and Rose Marie Good (Geldmeyer) Tim attended Orono High School. He married LouAnn in 1978 and together they had four children. They eventually settled in Delano where they raised their family.  Tim spent 25 years (1981-2006) employed with Meyer Bro’s Dairy as a milkman delivery to homes and schools.  Tim retired in May of 2017 from Kemps, LLC. He was employed there from 2006-2017. While working there he met many friends and would enjoy several bike trips on his Harley.  Tim spent his final 10 years living in Monticello. Tim loved being a Grandpa. Tim was able meet all 14 of his grandchildren.  Jackson, Addison Logan, Peyton, Emerson, Bentley, Jaxson, Easton, Sawyer, Riley, Harper, Dora, Kenzie, and Carter all brought so much joy to his life. Tim will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Lou Ann(Reiser)Reed along with his children Nathan (Andrea) Josh (Kelly) Holli (Mark) and Ben (Destiny) Papa Tim was blessed with 14 Grandchildren. Survived also by his mother, Rose Marie (Gale) Good, sisters, Cynthia Buehner (Ken) and Dawn Good Olson and numerous other family members and dear friends. Preceded in death by his father Gib, both of his brother’s Dan and Jon Reed.  A Celebration of his Life will take place 1:00 PM Saturday, July 17th, 2021, with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM, at Rettinger Funeral Home-425 Lake St., Long Lake, MN 55356
