Todd R. Waller Obituary

Todd Robert Waller, 62 year old resident of Maple Plain MN passed away on Friday September 12th at Abbott Northwestern Hospital following an unexpected cancer diagnosis.

Todd (Bear) was born February 13th, 1963 to Robert and Janis Waller in Morris MN. He graduated from Morris High School and went on to receive his Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Minnesota – Morris.

He began his career as a store manager for Woolworth, overseeing stores in Marshall, Devil’s Lake, Rapid City, and Minneapolis. Following his time with Woolworth, Todd, along with his parents, established and managed “Eagle Liquors” for several years.

After selling the store, Todd found a lasting career of 19 years with Farner-Bocken as a District Sales Representative. Throughout the entirety of his career, he maintained a strong work ethic and took pride in all that he did for each of his customers.

Retiring at the age of 61, he was allowed more time to enjoy his many hobbies such as fishing, gardening, cooking, watching sports, and playing games. His favorite pastime, most of all, was spending time with his boys, who were the center of his world.

Todd was strong yet sensitive. Intelligent and devoted. His smile was infectious and his humor never-ending. He loved with all his heart and will be missed by so many.

He is survived by his wife Kathy, sons Benjamin and Jakob, and mother Janis of Mound, formerly of Morris. Preceded in death by his father Robert, grandparents Marvin and Dorothy Erdman of Hancock, and grandparents Ray and Gladys Waller of Donnelly.

A celebration of life will be held at the Buffalo American Legion Post 270 on Friday September 26th from 5-8pm. Feel free to wear Vikings or Twins attire in honor of Todd’s love of the two teams.
